If only those bugs were gone. But anywho, it is a great day outside.
Suns shining, it's warm but not hot. Nice enough to have the windows open. A little bit of a breeze blowing through.
Nice day to get outside for a while (which I did, a little relaxing by the P [img]cool.gif[/img] [img]smile.gif[/img] L
Take a walk, ride your bike. Sit on the porch and do nothing, but enjoy a little of this weather if you can.

the beauty of the spring and summer months is that there is still sunshine and p[lenty of daylight after work and school for those who do those daytime shifts.

It's currenlty raining sideways at the airport. Shouldn't last too long though. I give it 45 mintues and it'll be outta here.
OOPS! Just started to get clouded over an nasty here on the east side too.
Looks like it's gonna pour.
Oh well, there's a whole summers worth of beautiful days ahead.
Skys are dark here in Kenwood, too.
And while we're on the subject of Cincinnati weather, anybody know who decides to sound the sirens? That BS Sunday night got on my every last nerve.

I could have strangled the operator of the sirens. I heard it after the first 30 seconds. It didn't need to run for 5 minutes. [img]graemlins/whatever.gif[/img]
After watching an hour of warnings from local news, I rushed - RUSHED - home to beat this horrible, HORRIBLE storm.
Five minutes after arriving home, it got pretty windy, it started to rain...then it turned into your standard springtime thunder shower.
It was kind of a letdown.
If a tornado ever hits our neighborhood, I'd be most obliged if y'all would come and search for the bodies, because
I will NEVER get out of bed again for a storm.
But, just in case you do see a funnel cloud and have time to take cover, I have two pieces of advice:
1. Gentlemen, take your wallet, and ladies, take your purse. When places get blown away and the National Guard shows up, they're not prone to letting just anyone in to the affected area. Not to mention the fact that if you end up with a vehicle and have to high-tail it to a hotel, you'll have a way to pay.
2. Take shoes.
Both tidbits courtesy of the 1974 tornado that destroyed 95% of my parent's house.
You know, it's a wonder any of us are still alive, much less posting. I mean, between the cicadas and the storms and all.
well, now I'ts really nice out again.
Although, they say it might get nasty again later tonight.
